Dr. Paul A. Blair, M.D. – perfect!

Hi, if you are reading this you have made the "first step" of making a decision that will literally "change you." I am talking inside as well as out! Every time I looked into the mirror I was saddened to see jowls, sagging neck and excessive skin hooding my eyes - it was too soon for me to begin looking this old! So after extensive consideration I decided to "explore: having my face "lifted" and possibly an upper eyelid lift. Now, where to do this? I knew I wanted a board certified plastic surgeon so I began my "search" and "research" using criteria I had personally set which brought me to Dr. Paul A. Blair, M.D. - perfect!

I scheduled my consultation, cancelled it two times (lol) but always scheduled. Finally I am sitting with Marlena who explained the procedure and answered my questions. She assured me she would be there for me, and she was, when I called (several times) or emailed she always promptly called me back, answered my emails timely and always followed through on what she promised.

Dr. Blair cam in with an upbeat professional manner, examined me and with his "expert eye," listened to my concerns and explained the procedures and options he thought would benefit me. While talking with Dr. Blair 9actually I was evaluating and "sizing" him up) my fears seemed to subside and I felt the confidence and trust it would take to "hand" him MY FACE!

Prior to the procedure I received instructions, dos and don'ts before the surgery. Which I did exactly! Procedure day is here.... I was met and taken back by Debbie, whom is soft spoken and knowing my nervousness offered up reassurance and compassion while collecting more information and giving me instructions on what's next and what to do and expect afterwards. She assisted Dr. Blair during the procedure, she held my hand (not literally, but I would say she would have if I had asked) and took very good care of me.

I don't really know what I was expecting the lifting surgery "to be," and it surprised me somewhat but "it is what it is," but never for a minute did I lose my confidence in Dr. Blair! He worked diligently, seriously, with an experienced and steady hand so that I would get the best results of his talent! That night I called their 24 hour hot line, left a message and Dr. Blair, personally, returned my call within 20 minutes! So be assured that the care you receive extends beyond their office walls!

The healing process went just as they said! A little slower maybe but I had no pain what-so-ever! Everyday my face emerged a little more into a younger looking, no sag ME!! No turkey neck, you could actually see my eyelids, jowls? What jowls? I will admit that it all was a little more than what I had "bargained for," or expected, but the results are AWESOME!! And for these results - I would do it all over again!

It's worth it girlfriend! The whole "journey" is worth it! You have chosen the best Dr. with a wonderful supporting staff who has the experience, the talent, the compassion to take you to an end result beyond your hopes and expectations! Go for it!

You will love the calming nature of Dr. Blair and his staff…

I have been a patient of Dr. Blair for the past several years. My personal experience with Dr. Blair and his staff has been fantastic!!! They are absolutely the BEST from start to finish.

I have had several facial procedures, my latest upper/lower eyelids, have no regrets. Eyes are so much brighter now, no more looking tired all the time. Surgery was not that painful and heals quickly. I would recommend it to anyone considering doing it. You will love the calming nature of Dr. Blair and his staff.

I would highly recommend Dr. Blair….

On April 9, 2013 I gave myself a gift, a Lifestyle Lift! I had been scheduled twice and had to postpone my procedure for two other surgeries that couldn't wait, and then my dad passed away in March.

Dr Blair and his staff were very kind and caring people. My experience was excellent, and I can't brag on them enough.

My procedure went well and my recovery time was without complications.

Personalized attention from you, Dr. Blair. I feel that your years of experience, wisdom, and success with facial cosmetic surgery were major factors in my positive results. In addition, during this experience, I felt that it was important to you to be precise in your procedures and sanitary in your surgical room. As a physician, you were confident, highly competent, and yet personable and down to earth.
Personalized attention from your team. I was impressed that your assistants were focused on my care throughout this experience. How unique and what exemplary helpmates you have!

1. Communication before the surgery via emails with Marlena. I was able to ask procedural and technical questions about all aspects of my surgery.
2. Consultation prior to the surgery made to accommodate my schedule. Since I was driving a long distance and had never been to your location, my consultation was scheduled by Marlena to assist me with not having to make several different trips from home.
3. Availability of motel near your office. I was able to stay at Winfield Motel at a discounted price for several nights. The motel was close to your office which made it convenient and easy to access. I was told of the motel by Marlena.
4. Communication with your office by phone assisting me with directions en route to your office. When I was trying to find your office, I misinterpreted a road sign based upon Mapquest directions. I called your office, and the staff assisted me by giving me building names and landmark structures that I would pass that would enable me to locate your office more easily. Using these direction, I was able to fine your office.
5. Greeting by office staff. Your staff demonstrated courteous and helpful assistance. For example, your office staff allowed me to charge my cell phone during a follow up visit which occurred during and electrical storm outage at my home.
6. 24 hour assistance available. The fact that I could call and reach you and/or your staff relieved much anxiety for me.
7. Assistance with transportation by Marlena. Amazing. Marlena drove me to my motel and then came the next day and picked me up. Words cannot express my gratitude for this kindness. I must say that I am forever indebted to her for this.
8. The fact that you called me to see how I was on the evening of the surgery as I was in my motel room. You, the doctor, actually made the phone call. Amazing.
9. Phone calls as reminders of appointments. This helped keep me on tract with appointments, as well as, the reminder appointment cards given in the office.
10. Oral and written directions provided on things I needed to know before, during and after the surgery. Debbie and Marlena were very helpful with explaining and clarifying what I need to do throughout this experience.
11. Warm and professional health environment.

Again, I thank you and your staff for serving my needs during this important time in my life. I will be recommending you to individuals in this party of the state. I wish you well.

I am glad I had the procedure done.

I am writing to people considering having a cosmetic procedure with Dr. Blair. I had surgery on my jaw and neck area seven weeks ago and am very pleased with the results.

Dr. Blair talked to me a couple of times before I decided to actually schedule an appointment for the procedure. He answered all of my questions. The surgery itself does not take very long and you are awake the whole time. It was not very painful at all during the procedure. I was probably at the office under two hours that day. The staff is very friendly and you are told to call if you have any questions or problems after the procedure is done.

After I ha the procedure I went home with a friend. I did have swelling and quite a bit of bruising, which mostly healed up after the first couple of weeks. They tell you, that your face will appear to be overdone due to swelling for the first week, and I found that to be true. After you get the stitches out it seems to heal faster. There is some discomfort after you have it done but it is really not too bad.

I am glad I had the procedure done. I am 62 and it shaved off at least a dozen years from my appearance. Friends and family think it made a big difference in a positive way. I would recommend having a face lift with dr. Blair and his staff if you are considering a procedure. I think they make every effort to be helpful and do a good job.
